Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Gadwaly, provided by [Company legal name] (CR [رقم السجل التجاري / CR No.]), [Address], State of Kuwait. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Gadwaly is a cloud platform for building school timetables, managing cover, duties and exams, and publishing timetables to teachers and parents.
We may improve the service and add or change features over time, and we will tell schools about any material change that affects them.
2. Accounts
Whoever creates a school account must be authorised to act for that school. The school is responsible for its team members and the roles it grants them.
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity under your account. We temporarily lock an account after repeated failed sign-ins to protect it.
Accounts may not be created by automated means or with false details.
3. The service is free
Gadwaly is free for every school, with every feature included — no subscription, no card and no trial period.
We set reasonable limits to protect the service from abuse, such as the number of timetables per school and the number of AI assistant questions per user per day (currently 10). We may change these limits or add paid features in the future; we will tell you in advance by email or in the app, and no fee will ever be charged without your agreement.
4. School data
All data a school enters (teachers, classes, timetables, daily records) belongs to the school. We process it on the school's behalf and only to provide the service.
A school can export its data at any time (Excel / XML / iCal) and ask for it to be permanently deleted.
5. Student data
The platform is designed to work with minimal student data (name and class, only when electives are used). The school is responsible for obtaining any consent required from parents under applicable rules and Ministry of Education requirements.
We never sell student data or use it for advertising, and student names are never sent to any AI model.
6. AI assistant
The AI assistant is optional and makes suggestions based on your timetable data. Its answers can be wrong, so review any change before applying it.
"AI learning" is on by default for new schools, so assistant conversations are stored to rate, correct and improve the assistant. The school's administrators can turn it off at any time on the AI assistant page, which deletes stored conversations immediately.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of the laws of the State of Kuwait, including Law No. 63 of 2015 on Combating Information Technology Crimes; try to break into, disrupt or overload it; access another school's data; or resell the service without written permission.
8. Availability and backups
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available around the clock and take regular backups, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted. We recommend exporting and keeping a copy of approved timetables.
9. Intellectual property
The software, design and the Gadwaly name belong to [Company legal name]. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service while your account is active.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Kuwaiti law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit, and, as the service is free, we accept no financial liability to the school beyond what the law requires.
11. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, with notice where possible.
After closure we keep the data for 30 days so you can recover or export it, then delete it permanently unless the law requires us to keep it.
12. Changes
We may update these terms and will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, including Law No. 20 of 2014 on Electronic Transactions, and the courts of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
